Beginner Score: 5 Seconds

  • January 11, 2005
I'll bet none of you out there has a copy of Paper Minesweeper. I set my personal record for beginner mode on Sunday.

The first day of school was like it always is: extremely slow. I'll be working at OIT on MWF mornings, then OSP most of the day Tuesday. On the other hand, my actual class schedule is light; I have nothing before noon.

I looked over the scheduler data on Oscar to consider how I might repair the Hydrous Scheduler, but it's just so immense. I was hoping to parse the HTML directly into my database, but ECE alone was a 1.5M HTML file. I begged the registrar again for scheduler data, but to no avail. At this point, my remaining option is to ask my supervisors at OIT to allow me to use our work data for my personal project, so we'll see how that goes. If that doesn't work out, it may be the end of the scheduler.
