My violin came out of hibernation today for the first time in several months. Other than the A string slipping loose, it was in fine condition - it's so perdy. I set out the Suzuki book and fiddled with the first song for a bit, and I noticed I can't read treble clef! Not really, but I keep hitting the viola equivalent of the fingers, so it's all jumbled. Oh well. I miss the ease of holding a lighter instrument, but I enjoy having the C string on viola, so it's hard to say which I really prefer.
