Sometimes feet just get in the photo.

The right-shift key on my keyboard at work has been flaking out. I went to our IT guys to ask for a new one, and he opened the cabinet for me to pick a new one; all ten of these keyboards were coated in gunk, with all sorts of crap under the keys. I have to maintain some sort of sterility.

This would be a good time to introduce the idea of washing your keyboard in the dishwasher. I've done this several times with my keyboard at home, and it works great. Just take it apart, pull out the electronics and anything water-damageable, and run it through the wash. Just don't use detergent, and make sure the washer doesn't run the "drying" cycle.
