Life is Boring so Here's a Yard Shot

I dislike the American standard of putting the punctuation inside "quotes", so I'm going to continue to do as the British do, which makes more sense in this technical world of ours, anyway. If a friend didn't say "Come here now comma", then why should I misquote him as such? Since it matters explicitly in the world of programming languages, it's only natural to extend it into general speech.
I reached 1,000 comments a few days ago, thanks to Javy; with 531 photos as of this one, that averages out to just under two comments per photo. Glancing at the counter, I see we're set to hit 600,000 soon, and that value will probably have been exceeded by the time you read this. ... boooring!!

I don't mind including sentences within quotes like, "He went to the store." But it just looks odd when you refer to something that's not a quotation such as "A Day in the Life".
