Clouds and Beams

This was view one afternoon from the GTRI parking deck, when I took several of the Atlanta cityscape photos.

Last night I bought a new cell phone: the Motorola Krave ZN4. For a few months I had been contemplating what sort of smartphone I might get: would I be willing to change to AT&T (from Verizon) to get an iPhone? Maybe I'd stick with Verizon and get a Windows Mobile device? In the end I realized I'm not the sort of person who lives and breathes by his smartphone, so it would be fun for a while but wouldn't be worth the extra money. I think the Krave is exactly what I need.

While getting a new phone I also transferred my phone number to my name, which ends the last bill that my parents were still paying. That should make my dad happy!
