Car + Tree = Insurance Claim

Northside Drive was blocked yesterday by a fallen tree, as a result of our severe wind storm. I'm standing in the middle of Northside facing north.

Some of the cables laying on the car are high-voltage lines over an inch in diameter. You can see one of the cables' insulators hanging in the top center of the photo, having been ripped from its pole.

I assume someone was in this car since it's in the middle of the road.

Yes, there was apparently a couple who were stuck in the car after it happened. The prevailing advice is always to stay in one's car if it comes into contact with downed power lines, since you could electrocute yourself stepping out of the vehicle.
