Wet Pooch

I watched for several minutes as this pup waded around in the Tidal Basin waters in DC. He would waddle around the flooded concrete and occasionally fall into the deep part of the water, then climb back onto the shallow area and shake off. His owner, a local, remarked how the flooding was very uncommon.

His face is so expressive! I love it... not least of all because of how impossibly crouched down in the water you must have been :)

I wasn't /too/ low to the water. Fortunately I was able to take plenty of shots with the camera held below me, and some of them came out well.
