Sparkly Bright Shiny Lights

  • December 13, 2005
So, the breaking news on the street is that the Braves might be sold off by Time Warner. Initially this is bad because you never know with whom or where they'll end up. However, Time Warner is a huge corporation who buys and sells big things all the time, I'm sure, so I suppose it's not that unusual. They might not be sold, anyway, and even if they are, it's easy for the buyer to leave them in Atlanta. Maybe Ted will buy them back ... hehe. The AJC has more info (disable cookies from the ajc.com domain for registration-free access - what a silly loophole).

well I was thinking about buying them, but I don't want Chipper. Maybe they will give me a discount if I don't take him.

It's time we had a real owner who lives in Atlanta and knows what it means to be a Braves' fan, not some secret boardroom we don't even know exists.

How about Arthur Blank? That would be awesome.
