Ribs on a Flame

  • October 15, 2006
I returned today to try another 10 tickets' worth of samples from the Atlanta restaurants. I wrapped up the day with a 3-coupon square of the Turtle Cheesecake featured yesterday (yes, they upped the price!) ... it was worth that third coupon. The full set is now up on hPhoto.

Wow...I love the detail on the flames/grill/tongs, but I have to say that this is one of those scenes that reaffirms for me why I don't eat meat. Even if that were soy-based, it just looks...dead. That's not a critique at all against your photography--that's just my veggie social commentary on the consumption of dead animals. ;o)

(And if that gets me in trouble, so be it. Flame on! ;P)

Dead is good. I prefer my meat not-living.
But seriously - you see death, I see sustenance - yummy, awesome sustenance.

So, do you prefer to see a lion eat a cow alive or humans kill a cow and then eat it? I prefer the former actually. :-D

yeah, i imagine the lion way is considerably less gross (and more humane?)

Ironic, when a non-human killing is more humane than the human way of doing it, huh?
