Logitech Mouse Standby

When attempting to enter standby on my PC, Windows would fail if my Logitech USB mouse was attached, saying "The device driver for the 'HID-complaint Wheel Mouse' device is preventing the machine from entering standby. Please close all applications and try again. If the problem persists, you may need to update this driver". Of course, I updated the driver and it failed again.

Solution: enter the Device Manager, select the mouse device, choose the "Power Management" tab. Uncheck "Allow this device to bring the computer out of standby".
